About The Brand
Shock Top is a traditional Belgian-Style wheat ale first introduced in 2006 as a seasonal brew under the name Spring Heat Spiced Wheat. After winning a gold medal in 2006 and bronze medal in 2007 in the Belgian White category at the North American Beer Awards, Anheuser-Busch decided that it was only right to bring it to the people year-round. Since calling it Spring Heat didn't seem to make a whole lot of sense in the middle of November (or July, for that matter), the company changed the name to Shock Top.

Light, unfiltered, Belgian-style, wheat ale beer. Cloudy light golden color, aromas of citrus zest and coriander. Slightly fruity and sweet, finished with balanced bitterness.

For this addition, the base Belgian-style wheat is aged on vanilla and chocolate. Belgian-style wheat ale brewed with spice, aged on cocoa and vanilla beans and with natural flavors.

As the name suggests, this brew combines the flavors of caramel malts, honey, brown sugar & bananas to deliver a Belgian-style unfiltered wheat ale with a smooth, creamy caramel finish, sweet bananas aroma & subtle hopping for a full flavor experience.
